10:40 EOSC in the countries
The EOSC Association has facilitated over 25 national tripartite events across Europe that have kick-started a range of activities around national EOSC implementation. The events have involved over 2100 participants and have dealt with a diverse set of relevant themes. This session will give the opportunity to learn about the direct effects of these events. The session will present a synthesis on the diverse national efforts held over the last 18 months, as well as reflections on Open Science Policies issues in the countries. A panel session will showcase four national representatives who will put forward their experiences on Open Science and EOSC at national level. This will trigger a structured discussion around the drivers and challenges at national level, including best practices, insights and lessons learned in the many diverse national approaches to EOSC as well as plans for regional and European collaboration.
Participants will learn about priorities for EOSC development at national level and will be able to hear about clear examples to draw from at their own national level around key topics.
