Gonzalo Arévalo
General Director of Research Planning
Gonzalo Arévalo is a civil servant in the Corps of Higher Specialized Technicians of Public Research Organizations (OPI). He has a doctorate in Decision Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Sciences. He has been working in the field of research management since 2003, occupying different positions of responsibility, especially regarding the internationalisation of R&D&I in the field of health. Before his appointment as General Director of Research Planning, he has been working as Deputy Director General of International Research Programs and Institutional Relations at the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII).
