Wolmar Nyberg Åkerström
Wolmar Nyberg Åkerström is an IT professional at Uppsala University and the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS) / ELIXIR Sweden. His work is focused around data management in international e-infrastructure initiatives and facilitating data sharing and reuse in Swedish life science research. Beyond the European research infrastructure ELIXIR, he is also engaged in the global Research Data Alliance (RDA) and the Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC). As co-chair for the EOSC Semantic Interoperability TF, Wolmar also brings past experiences from working in digital scholarship, scholarly communication and digital repositories for research data, academic publications, and cultural heritage.
